PCB¶
All Forth prototyping needs some way to hold everything together.
Hand etched single sided microcontroller board¶
I made this PCB in 1999, CAD was gEDA; gSchem for the schematic and PCB for the board layout. Note the 10 thou tracks.
The board features variable width tracks to accommodate power requirements, and a zero volt copper pour to reduce electrical noise and copper/etchant wastage. Open Source software did this and a lot more back in the 1990’s.
